Pascal Danz was born in 1961 in Bangui, Republic of Central Africa and came to Berne in 1967, where he received his school education.

Pascal Danz lived and worked in Bern and Zurich. Since 1989 he exhibited regularly in Switzerland and abroad and received prestigious Swiss scholarships and prizes. From 2000 to 2005 he was a member of the board of the Kunsthalle Bern. In recent years he taught at the F+F School of Art and Design in Zurich. His works are represented in numerous institutional and private collections. Pascal Danz died in 2015 in Iceland.
